Xi'an Kunlun Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. was founded on January 26, 1999. It is wholly owned by Xi'an Kunlun Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. in 2002.

Taiwan's investment was introduced on October 25, 2001, with a registered capital of 13.6 million yuan. In December 2014, the company finished capital increase and share expansion, which is now limited in Xi'an Kunlun Industry Group.
